A visit to a City Theatre Student Matinee offers educators and students the opportunity to experience new and adventurous plays in a professional theatre environment. Each one of these age-appropriate performances is accompanied by a post-show talkback session with the cast and crew. Teachers attending student matinees also receive show-specific Resource Guides prior to their visit. Each Resource Guide features informative interviews, articles, and classroom activities that directly fulfill Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
All student matinee performances take place on weekdays at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are $10.00 per student. To learn more about City Theatre’s Student Matinee Series, contact the Education Department at 412.431.4400 ext. 274.
